British warship followed the patrol boat of the Russian Navy, "Yaroslav the Wise", which followed through the English Channel, peredaetReuters.

Warship "Argyll", equipped with a helicopter "Lynx", used the means of detection for surveillance of Russian ship bound to the North Sea through the Mediterranean.

"Under the agreement, the countries - members of NATO allies carry out joint monitoring activity, in connection with which the British Navy used the French intelligence service," - said in a statement the Ministry of Defence of the United Kingdom.
