No Foreign Aircraft Violated Russian Airspace in 2014: Defense Ministry

MOSCOW, January 3 (Sputnik) — No violations of Russian airspace have been registered in the past year, Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson Igor Klimov said Saturday.

“In 2014… no violations of state borders by foreign aircraft or breach of air rules by domestic users were registered,” Klimov stated.

Moscow Denies Claims That Russian Il-20 Breached Estonian Airspace

Russian experts controlled the flights of more than 380,000 aircraft above the country’s territory during the year, he added.
